Roehampton Covid Response Network
Project to support the development of a thriving community and voluntary sector in Roehampton
A network organised by the Citizen Advice Wandsworth capacity building project ‘My Roehampton’, held over virtual meetings, consisting of local residents, organisations and services with an objective to better their community.
Created in the first week of lockdown in March to provide a platform for forward planning, communication and co-ordination of response to and recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and wider issues in Roehampton and Wandsworth.
The network’s meetings discuss serious topics that affect the community, such as poverty, mental health, relationship building, partnership working and much much more.
“The network is bringing together leaders in Roehampton to exchange and collaborate on the issues that matter to local people. I have already partnered with group members to draft and share information on local health services and have been connected to organisations that can support us to reach a large number of local people”. – Head of Patient and Public Involvement & Equalities (Merton & Wandsworth), NHS South West London CCG
