Age Well Roehampton (Hestia) is a service which is commissioned for people over 55 years of age,  who live in Roehampton, with activities and signposting to other helpful services as required.  To promote health and wellbeing, organise and facilitate activities/special events, liaise with other local community groups and receive referrals from Social Prescribers.  To enrol, please call Jenny Bailey on 07826 779684.

There is no membership fee, but we require a completed application form to ensure the criteria for membership is adhered to and so that we can regularly keep in touch with individuals and ensure that essential information is disseminated to all who have signed up.  Currently, there are 35 members. Members will be advised of outings, musical events and importantly advice on age-related concerns. Looking forward to meeting you!

MondaySilver Surfers – Technical support with Phones and Laptops:
When: 1pm to 3pm
Where: Minstead Gardens Sheltered Housing Clubroom

TuesdayCreative Writing – no experience needed, relaxing and therapeutic – just bring a notepad and pen. Very friendly and informal, including relaxation and mindfulness.
When: 10am Tea, for 10.30am start  to 12 noon.
Where: Minstead Gardens Sheltered Housing Clubroom.  Frequency:  Weekly.
TuesdayWalks – join our leisurely walks held on the first Tuesday of the month
When: 1pm the first Tuesday of the month
Where: Roehampton Libary.  Frequency:  Monthly.
TuesdayQuiz– come and join Phil Evison – Experienced Quiz Master. Fun and Sociable.
When: 1.30 tea, for 2pm start to 3pm on the second Tuesday of the month

WednesdayMake and Mend: Stitch and Sew
Where: Grosse Way Club Room, off Putney Heath.  1 – 34 Grosse Way which is off Dover Park Drive.  For the Club Room Number or for directions call 0208 788 9381.   £1 including tea and biscuits
First Session:  Wednesday 2nd March 10.30 Tea for 11am Start to 1pm. Frequency:  Weekly.
ThursdayChair Yoga: with Lisa Jane – two sessions. First session – 10am, second session – 11.15am 
Venue: Minstead Gardens Sheltered Housing Clubroom.
Price: £4.00 per class.                                                                                    
FridayChair Yoga: with Lisa Jane – 10am to 11am.  First taster session free.
STARTING 12 NOVEMBER
