Roehampton Community Weeks Celebration

We would like to thank everyone who for attended Roehampton Community Weeks Celebration earlier this year and hope everyone had an enjoyable evening!

For those who couldn’t make it, you were very much missed but we did celebrate and acknowledge everyone involved (present and not present) for all your contributions be it offering, organising and/or delivering an event or activity – without you the Roehampton Community Weeks would not be possible.

A special thank you again to the Roehampton Club for hosting us and providing us with a beautiful venue and dinner for the evening.

Please see our group photo at the end of the night and if anyone took individual photos they would like to share please do send them to us.

Home is where the heArt is

Estate Art have recently launched a project involving 10 schools/organisations, using doors and hearts to depict how a home makes you feel. The work is displayed around the estate and also includes a message to our Queen a huge piece of artwork of the Queen where EstateArt collaborated with the community to write a message for the Queen on small hearts.

Connecting and communicating in conflict

The ‘Connecting and Communicating in Conflict’ programme is designed to support anyone who works with young people who are facing challenging situations or conflict and who may be at risk of youth violence or exploitation. It is particularly focussed on how to connect and communicate with people who may be demonstrating challenging behaviour or engaging in conflict.

To register an interest for the training, please email Kirsten Ross at battersea@wandsworthmediation.co.uk and we will let you know if you have a space. The training is funded by the Wandsworth Knife Crime Forum and they will allocate the limited places, with priority for community organisations. Deadline for registration is May 31st.
